Concept :
The "Glassism" project aims to illustrate relationships to glass as a material and create a sense for glass poetry.
I wish to give glass a new dimension, far away from the many glass objects we take for granted in our everyday life. I want to allow it to stand there like a person, and interact with us.
The photographs show various forms of glass that are staged to express interactions with the material.
Sometimes the relation becomes tactile. While handling the glass I can feel how much I can make it bend until it breaks, how heavy or light it can be, how far we can play with each other before someone gets hurts.
Sometimes it's a vision that takes place. I allow my daydreams to take form and become reality. The relation to glass becomes then theatrical and surrealistic.
